Walking on a Straight Line

  • Walking is the movement of feet from one place to another or go from one place to another place.

  • Walking on a straight line develops confidence and keeps body fit.

  • It develops leg muscles and make them strong.

  • Walking on a straight line develops a healthy posture of walking ,standing and sitting.

  • Walking on a straight line develops the brain of a child which helps him/her to think and maintain balance.

  • It keeps our backbone or spine straight and strong.

  • Walking on a straight line helps a child to think positively and carefully while ahead step by step.

We Only Need A Chalk

Step 1 :

First the children are made to stand on one side of the classroom.


Step 2 :

A line is drawn in the middle of the classroom.


Step 3 :

Let the child walk on the straight line.


Step 4 :

See whether or not the child is walking touching his/her heel to the thumb of the other foot.
