The particular activity aims to make the child understand the concept of big and small. This activity helps in developing eye and brain coordination. It helps the child to differentiate and judge the things or objects according to their size. This activity helps to understand the concept when he/she touches the objects. It also helps to differentiate the objects found around his/her surroundings.
OUR AIM :
To understand the difference between big and small and understand the concept.
Material Required to perform this activity :
Small and larger balls of similar kind, small and large containers of same kind and ten such pairs of various objects.
Let's Perform The Activity:
Step 1 :
Make the children sit in a semi circle.
Step 2 :
The teacher should keep the covered objects next to them
Step 3 :
Now pull out one object, for example, pull out a small ball and keep it in front and say 'small ball'.
Step 4 :
Now take out a bigger ball and say, 'big ball'.
